Tiger Leaping Gorge (Shangri-La Section)

Tiger Leaping Gorge is world-famous for its huge drop. It is located in the east of Tiger Leaping Gorge Town, Shangri-La County. It is divided into three sections: Upper, Middle and Lower Tiger Leaping, with a total length of about 20 kilometers. The middle of the gorge is the Jinsha River, and on both sides are the two snow-capped mountains of Yulong and Haba. The narrowest part of the river is only 20 to 30 meters.
