Orange Island is a sandbar in the Xiangjiang River. It has always been a famous place in Changsha and is famous for Mao Zedong’s famous quote. Orange Island has beautiful scenery and dense trees. There is a large citrus cultural garden and a huge Mao Zedong portrait. There are also some cultural exhibition halls and swimming in the summer. During major festivals, the fireworks show here is also a visual feast.
