建造乐山大佛的原因
据说在 古乐山当时，岷江、青衣江、大渡河在乐山交汇，水势凶猛，过往船只经常沉没。为了减小水势，平息河水，海通法师集人力物力修建了乐山大佛。大佛建成后，江水竟平静了许多，过往船只也能安全通过。
乐山大佛位于乐山市岷江、青衣江、大渡河三江交汇处的凌云山栖霞峰岩壁上。又名凌云大佛，已被联合国教科文组织批准为 "世界文化与自然遗产"。造型为弥勒佛坐像，是唐代摩崖造像艺术的杰作。
欣赏巨型石雕弥勒佛坐像
乐山大佛雕刻于唐代，由三代工匠历经 90 年完成。大佛为弥勒佛坐像，高约 70 米，是一尊巨大的石刻弥勒佛坐像。观看高大雄伟的乐山大佛，感叹古人不用现代大型工具就能创造出如此精美的佛像。

乐山大佛一直是佛教圣地。在巨大的佛像前，双手合十，静心祈祷，祈求自己、家人和朋友平安健康。
凌云寺
凌云寺是一座三层院落建筑，由大雄宝殿和藏经阁组成。寺内香火鼎盛，前来祈福的游客络绎不绝。凌云寺的绿化也非常好。寺院周围不仅绿树成荫，还种植了许多盆栽。在这里体验佛教文化是一个不错的选择。
乐山睡佛寻找卧佛
在青衣江的江面上，有几座山峰连在一起。如果你仔细观察，就会发现它的形状很像一尊卧佛，有佛头、佛身和佛足。睡佛面向天空，十分有趣。观赏 "睡佛 "的最佳地点在乐山古城东迎春门码头一带。
